What happens at an audition?

Happiness is singing in the choir!

Jubilate has a unique audition process that seeks to eliminate audition anxiety.

Auditionees come to three rehearsals and sing with the choir. Selected choir members sit by an auditionee each week to hear vocal production, timbre, vibrato, etc.

At the end of the third rehearsal, you may be asked to sing your part of a simple song with a quartet.

If your voice is what the director is looking for at that time, welcome! If not, it does not mean that you do not have a lovely voice, just that it is not what we need at the time.

All rehearsals are on Monday evenings from 7-9:30 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, 210 S. 700 E., Salt Lake City, Utah.
